What improves in the React build (all else equal):
  • Code splitting — only the current page's JS is loaded
  • Image optimization — WebP conversion + lazy loading via React Image
  • CDN caching of static assets via Vercel/Netlify edge network
  • Tree-shaking removes unused CSS and JS from the bundle
  • Prefetching — next pages load before the user clicks

Developer note: Remove this banner and modal entirely from the React production build.

Retirement Village

A simpler, maintenance-free lifestyle and community for active seniors who don’t need daily care.

What it is. A retirement village — also called a retirement community, independent living community, or 55+ community — is built for active, independent seniors who are done with mowing the lawn and fixing the roof, but don’t need help with daily personal care. Most villages in Tupelo and throughout northeast Mississippi offer private homes, cottages, or apartments along with amenities like dining, housekeeping, activities, fitness, and scheduled transportation.

Who it’s for. A parent who is still independent, mobile, and generally healthy, but ready to simplify — downsizing, tired of yard work, recently retired, or wanting neighbors nearby. If your parent doesn’t need help with medication, bathing, or other personal care, a retirement village is often a more independent option than assisted living.

Retirement village vs. assisted living

A retirement village is for seniors who are still independent and don’t need regular help with daily tasks. Assisted living adds daily support with meals, medication, and personal care. Families often call asking about one when what they really need is the other — untangling that is usually Ronald’s first real conversation with them.
